The Parish of Notre Dame du Perpetuel Secours in Cavaillon (a rural town in southern Haiti) consists of three primary schools and one secondary school.  Support is needed to fund school lunch and teacher salary for preschoolers (3–5-year-olds) at the Immaculee Conception School (one of the primary schools).  Monsignor Ignace Coissy is the director.

The Problem:  

Although most families don’t have the means to pay tuition, their children are admitted to the Immaculee Conception school.   The preschool currently maintains two K3, two K4, and two K5 classes.  Assistance is needed to cover teacher salaries as there aren’t enough paying families.  The goal of the school is to provide a daily hot meal for all students.  However, due to limited resources, lunch is not provided every day.   For some students the school lunch is their main meal for the day without which they would go hungry.

YOU can help by becoming one of our Angels!   With your gifts, teacher salaries and/or daily school lunch can be funded for the entire school year!  However, the funds collected will be disbursed quarterly to the school.

A total of $660 per month is needed to cover salaries for the six preschool teachers.

•    30 Angels are needed to donate $22 per month (73 cents a day) to cover teacher salaries. 

​

The preschool program currently serves about 130 children ages 3-5.

•    120 Angels are needed to donate $30 per month ($1.50 a day) to provide daily lunch for all the preschoolers.
